About the artist

Lizzy Rockwell lives and works in Connecticut with her husband and dog, Reggie. Lizzy has been an artist her whole life, spending hours drawing and creating stories with her brother and sister. She has illustrated many beautiful children’s books and gifts.

Nothing sticks

None of the clothes or other items on the decal sheet stick to the background or to either of the dolls. Cute idea, but clearly a design flaw.

Hi, Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that. Our paper dolls use electrostatic vinyl so they can be interchangeable and used over and over again. Occasionally the vinyl needs to be 'recharged' due to dust or from coming into contact with foreign materials. To recharge the vinyl, rub them on carpet or a similarly static charged surface then wash with water and mild dish soap. Once air dry they will be ready to use again. Colorful, entertaining, and representative

Our 6-year old received this paper doll set from my mother AND she loved it immediately. One of the characters is named Naomi (which is her name), is an artist like her, and Asian American (which she is). She has been entertained for hours, making up stories between musician Elodie and artist Naomi. We love this set because our daughter can see herself in these characters.

Clothes curl, won’t stick

These dolls are adorable and so are the clothes. My six-year-old was very excited to play with them. However, the clothes immediately began curling up when they were removed from their backing and they wouldn’t stick to the dolls at all. She ended up playing with the dolls without their clothes. The dolls are well-made. The clothes are essentially useless.

Very occasionally the static cling may fade and you can try to rub the doll clothes on a carpet or another piece of clothing to create static cling.
